Sharp Mermaid — Diagrams for Confluence
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Sharp Mermaid renders diagrams inside your Confluence pages. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, and it makes no network requests to anything outside Atlassian.
The only thing Sharp Mermaid stores is the Mermaid source text you type into a diagram. That text is saved by Confluence as part of the macro's configuration, inside your own Confluence page, on Atlassian's infrastructure. Inkline Apps never receives a copy.
Rendering happens locally in your browser. The app runs on Atlassian Forge, so any data it touches stays within Atlassian's infrastructure.
Diagram source lives in your Confluence page. Delete the macro or the page and it is gone. Uninstalling the app removes it from your site. Inkline Apps holds nothing to delete.
The app requests no Confluence API scopes. It reads only the configuration of the macro it is rendering.
Material changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
